Your bargaining committee met with the employer this week for the 16th and 17th times since the process began.<\/p>\n

We are making steady progress in our discussions, but there are still many important issues to be discussed. We have several more meetings scheduled for September and October also.<\/p>\n

Remember, our gains will be proportional to the members’ support for their Bargaining Committee.<\/strong><\/p>\n

When the time comes, we will need to hold mobilization actions to advance our priorities. In the meantime, please continue to wear your Component pin on your uniform. Attach your luggage tags from the National “U<\/strong>npaid Work Won\u2019t Fly<\/b><\/em>” campaign to your carry-on bags<\/strong>. These actions will demonstrate the strength we have in numbers.<\/p>\n

It’s our turn to improve our wages. We have done our part over the past years. It’s now time for our members to be recognized for what they are worth.<\/p>\n

Stay tuned. We will continue to share updates after each period of negotiations with the employer.<\/p>\n
